Ladies Camps have been times of great encouragement in the past and we eagerly look forward to the coming one. It is a time of relaxation from our usual daily lives, a time of fellowship, sharing and learning from God’s Word.

On Saturday afternoon there will be a variety of activities to choose from, possibilities include an adventure, coffee, a walk or a quiet activity at camp. We will get in touch with more details closer to camp.

DATES
Camp begins at 6pm on Friday, 24th of April, with dinner. The Camp will end after lunch on Monday, 27th. To enrol, please use the Application Form further down this page.

WHO MAY ATTEND
Any woman aged 14 or over, or younger with a supervising adult. Part-time and live-out attendance is possible. Mothers will maximise the benefits of the Camp without the responsibility of children. However, children may attend if other arrangements for their care cannot be made, but there will be no programme organised for them.

Lakeview Bible Camp is a modern heated camp on a lovely site overlooking Lake Rotorua. Accommodation will be in either single or shared rooms in self-contained cabins. If sharing is necessary we endeavour to put women of similar age together.

WHAT TO BRING

  1. Bible, pen, notebook
  2. Sheets and blankets, or sleeping bag + fitted sheet for mattress protection, pillowcase (pillows provided), towel
  3. Raincoat and warm clothes, walking shoes
  4. Swimming togs (we might have a swim)
  5. Some baking (for morning teas, etc.)
  6. Musical instruments.

We plan to have an auction this year, so items to donate to the auction table would be appreciated.
