DATES
September 11-13, 2026. Starts Friday after tea and ends Sunday after morning tea and tidy up (you can take a cut lunch with you to save time on the road home). Get your skis or snowboard and join us at the wonderful Mangatepopo Camp near Whakapapa for a weekend of fun. We cannot guarantee the snow, but we will have a good time!

The fees cover only the accommodation and food including lunches. Ski gear hire, lift passes, etc. will be extra and payable by each person as required. $20 of your fee is a non-refundable deposit. The first 50 people to enrol and paying at least their deposit will be accepted.
Families are welcome but children below Y10 at school are only allowed with parents.
If the number of people wanting to come exceeds 50, it is possible that we can book extra accommodation at a higher price. If this situation looks likely to arise, we will advise prices on this page.
POSSIBLE ACTIVITIES
Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, tramping, hot swim on Saturday night. Singing and Bible talks included at no extra charge!
WARNING!
- Mountain expeditions are dangerous activities. Be sure to come prepared!
- Advice will be given, and checks will be made to ensure that adequate gear is being carried. However, this camp is being organised on a personal basis and each camper will be responsible for their own safety and preparation for the mountain experience.
- Non-prescribed drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and vaping are not allowed.
- The Camp will have a Christian basis and all will expected to participate in the Bible-related activities.
BRING
- Sleeping bag, pillow, Bible, and other life necessities
- Waterproof jacket and pants, 2 changes of warm clothing, including woollen jersey and socks, hat and gloves, sunglasses and sun block, tramping boots or sturdy shoes, day pack and drink bottle. You will not be allowed up the mountain if you do not bring the correct gear.
- Swimming togs, towel, and money for pool entry
- Board or card games, etc.
- Baking, or something to share e.g. chocolate, chips, etc.

An Application Form follows further down. The first 50 people to enrol with their $20 deposits will get to attend. Please fill in your details and click the Send button at the end of the form. All applications will be acknowledged within 48 hours.
