Making Recordings
To make messages available to others requires someone to record them in the first place. Anyone with a smartphone can make recordings.
For Android phones, the Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder Pro is inexpensive and easy to use. In its Settings, choose a Bit Rate of 32 kbps (the slowest sampling rate). Set your phone on the lectern or any suitable position close to and facing the speaker.
You do not need to start and stop them with precision, as it is easy for us to trim the files. Just start recording well before the speaker starts, and stop the recording after the meeting closes.
To submit recordings for listing on this Portal, they need to be transferred from your phone to the cloud. There are several ways to do this, such as by uploading them to a Google Drive folder in your account, or via Dropbox. Share the folder and email us the link (use the contact form on the About page). We will process the files from there.
