Weekly Programme

Sunday 10.30am – The Lord’s Supper

This is a time for worship and remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ as the One who died for us and rose again. It is a simple service with hymns, prayers and perhaps Bible readings to show appreciation for the Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father.

There is no minister or pastor to lead the service. The men of the Assembly, as led by the Holy Spirit, express the worship and thanksgiving of those present.

Central to this service is the communion or Lord’s Supper or Breaking of Bread as it is variously described. This is shared among those who regularly meet here, and with any visitors who follow the Lord.

This service finishes about 11.30am.

Sunday 11.45 am – Bible Teaching

Every week we take the opportunity to learn more from the Bible. The service begins with some singing and then a separate Bible activity is run for the children during the Bible teaching. You are most welcome to attend this meeting with your family and friends and to join us for morning tea beforehand, or a shared lunch afterwards.

Sunday 12.30 pm – Shared Lunch

The lunch is sometimes at the hall or in the home of one of the members.

Tuesday Coffee and Bible Study

On Tuesday evenings we meet for coffee, prayer and Bible study. This meeting is at 7.30pm and is held in a home. It is an excellent means of coming to grips with a wide variety of Bible teaching as we discuss the Scriptures together.

If you can’t come on Sunday, then come on Tuesday instead.
